Assistant Sales Manager (South India)

Roles & Responsibility

  • Must travel at least 3 weeks a month potential & existing client visits at site Pan India.
  • Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers.
  • To plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer’s needs and requirements in the targeted market.
  • Responsible to prepare a Sales Strategy.
  • Negotiation with Client and finalization the order.
  • Achieve the given Sales target.
  • To make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing the new customers.
  • Timely collection of payments.
  • Technical support in terms of getting approval of layout drawings, site readiness, etc.
  • To monitor the processing of orders and check that the delivery is running smoothly and that everything is on schedule.
  • Continuous co-ordination with existing clients for after-sales service support.
  • Involve preparing sales reports for discussion by company management, Budgets.
  • Organize sales briefings and conferences.
  • To manage the team of the Zone comprising Sales/Service.
  • To ensure implementation of sales promotion activities, sales planning & analysis, Relationship management & Team building.
  • Excellent managerial skills to guide/motivate the sales team to be effective and productive.
  • Knowledge of competitors’ products.
  • Preparation of Case Studies, Product Comparisons with Competitors, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP System i.e. SAP Preferred.

8 - 11 Years (Preferred Project Sales in Cement Industries, Capital Goods Industry, Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Industry)
Travelled Outside INDIA like GCC Countries, Europe, Australia, & Asia Region is an additional benefit.
