In the paper mill, the pulper rope is called the ragger tail or ragger wire. It is made during the pulping process when the trash is cleaned from the pulper vat. The waste materials get wrapped around, creating a rope-like chain called ragger wire. It comprises about 45% steel and 55% post-consumer waste. Pulper ropes are different types of garbage accumulated during paper production or, more precisely, waste paper recycling. Many paper production industries are responsible for the generation of pulper ropes.
The Ragger wire efficiently gets recycled through the Fornnax SR-MAX series primary shredders and the R-MAX series secondary single-shaft shredders with a vibration and magnetic separation system. Shredder selection depends on the required output size; the SR-MAX primary shredder can produce up to 150mm, while the R-MAX series shredders can produce 30-80mm SRF.
