Roles & Responsibility
- Inspect incoming raw materials and verify test certificates.
- Handover inspected materials to the Store with proper storage.
- Resolve issues of rejected/reworked materials with relevant departments.
- Issue debit notes to suppliers for rejected materials.
- Maintain identification and traceability of materials with test certificates.
- Conduct in-process and post-machining inspections.
- Perform final inspection of machines and outsourced parts.
- Check processes post job work (e.g., laser cutting, grinding, HMC/VMC).
- Inspect assembly processes as per checklist.
- Monitor fabrication and welding as per checklist.
- Final inspection before dispatch to customers.
- Manage welding materials and inventory.
- Handle CAPA for non-conformance issues.
- Manage welder certification, training, and work allocation.
- Select and audit forging material suppliers.
- Manage welding machine spares and maintenance.
