INTRODUCTION

Scrap electrical appliances and printed Circuit boards contain iron, copper, aluminium, gold, plastics, silver, and other raw materials. It also includes components that contain lead batteries and capacitors. The Fornnax electric waste recycling plant has a wide range of customised shredders, granulators, and hammer mills equipped with magnetic separation systems, eddy-current separation systems, and separation tables, which offer higher efficiency, toughness, and consistency. Fornnax e-waste recycling plant generates 98-99% pure metal powder, free from plastic fractions, for further applications.

PROCESS STAGES

Stage 1: Primary Shredding

At this stage, the loader feeds bulky e-waste or Pcb into the Fornnax SR-Series primary shredder. This unit is high torque, low-speed equipment, which reduces the e-waste scrap to variable-size shreds. The e-waste shred is approximately 50mm to 100mm.

Stage 2: Secondary Shredding

The primary e-waste shred is fed into the Fornnax R-Series secondary shredder at this stage through a conveyor feed system. This unit is heavy-duty medium-speed equipment with a screening system, producing e-waste chips up to 30mm. This process liberates ferrous metal from e-waste chips. OBMS separates Ferrous metals, and the Eddy Current Separator separates other organic materials

Stage 3A: Granulation

The e-waste chip is fed to the Fornnax TR-Series granulator in the granulation stage through the conveyor feed system. TR-Series Granulator is specially designed to accept e-waste chips for further downsizing and produces up to 4mm granule.

Stage 3B: Milling stage

In the milling stage, e-waste granules are fed to the Fornnax ZR-Series hammer mill through a pneumatic conveying system. The ZR-Series hammer mill is specially designed to accept e-waste granules for further downsizing. Hemmer mill produces a fine powder that lubricates plastic fractions from metal, producing metal that is up to 99% pure for further applications.
