INPUT

Passenger car tyres/ truck tyres/ OTR scrap Tyres are the input raw materials for the Fornnax Tyre Recycling System. All types of waste tyres, irrespective of size, could be the input raw materials. There is no specific requirement or limitation of input raw materials in the case of Fornnax Primary Shredder Technology, developed as a part of the Crumb Rubber Production Line.

OUTPUTS

TYRE SHREDS ( APROX. 50-300mm )

Up to 300 mm single-pass tyre shred is also known as tyre-derived aggregate (TDA) produced from Sr-Series primary shredders without screening. TDA is used in various civil engineering applications.
Tyre shred 50-150mm size produced from SR series dual shaft shredders with a disc classifier screen. 50-150mm shred is used as a raw material for Secondary processors, such as rubber chips or rubber granule manufacturers.
Tyre shred 50-80mm size produced from SR-series dual shaft shredders with trammel screen. It is used as a Tyre Derived Fuel. TDF is an energy source for generating heat in various industries such as Cement kilns, Silicate industry, Paper & Pulp Mill Boilers, Power Plants and other industrial boilers.

STEEL FREE CHIPS/ RUBBER MULCH (APPROX. 12-30mm)

12-30 mm rubber mulch produced from R-series secondary shredders with over band magnet. The applications below are available.

RUBBER GRANULE ( APPROX. 0.8-4mm)

When the scrap tyre materials are shredded by primary and secondary shredders and pass through the granulator with the fibre separation system, the output is high-quality rubber granules. Rubber granules are used in the making of the below products

Sports surfaces such as Athletic Tracks, Gym Flooring, Playgrounds
(CRMB) Crumb rubber-modified bitumen in road construction
Crumb rubber is used to produce reclaimed rubber sheet
Rubber mat, automotive parts and many more.

STEEL

Fornnax ensures that the steel wires liberated during tyre recycling are cleaned. Cleaned steel, up to 99%, is produced from an online steel cleaning system with an additional R-series secondary shredder, whereas 96 % of clean steel wire is produced from stand-alone steel cleaning systems without an additional secondary shredder. It is free from foreign materials like textiles and rubber and has a high density. Most of the largest steel industries use cleaned steel wires produced by our tyre recycling plants.

TEXTILE

The liberated textile has a high burning value and contains nylon and rubber powder. So, it can be mixed with other materials to increase their burning value, too. For example, the big cement industries use this textile to mix with alternative fuels and lower burning value like wood, cartons, paper and plastic.
